Returns & Shipping


Due to the handmade and often custom nature of our products, unfortunately we do not accept returns on House of Bobbins products if you have changed your mind or ordered the incorrect product.

All of our products are hand made with care and attention to detail. Due to the natural quality of the timber, variations in colour and grain may occur. Minor imperfections may occur during the manufacturing process, but this should not effect the intended use of our products and will not be considered a fault.


In the event your product does arrive damaged or faulty please contact us with photos detailing the damage so we can asses the product. We may require you to return the product to us for repair or replacement. This will be decided on a case by case basis and we will keep you updated throughout the process. 


Any refunds issued will be minus the original postage cost and any promotional discounts.

Each of our products is handmade in our workshop on the Mornington Peninsula, in Victoria. We try to get everything made and sent out as soon as we can. If you are unsure of the current turn around times, you can take a look here.

Where possible, we prefer to send our book slings out assembled. That way we know you’re getting the perfect product delivered to your door. 

If postage to your address for an assembled book sling is too expensive we also offer flat pack postage. This includes step by step instructions and a video tutorial that can be found on our YouTube channel.


Our products are sent with Australia Post. The shipping calculator will estimate the cost based on what is in your shopping cart and give you a postage price. Please select your preferred shipping method prior to completing your purchase.

We do also offer local pick up to those located in the suburbs surrounding ours. If you would like to collect your order, please select this option at the checkout. We will then let you know once it’s completed and book in a collection time with you. 


Currently we do not ship products outside of Australia


We package all of our items with as much care as possible, so if a parcel you’ve received from us arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to let us know. 

If your parcel was sent with Australia Post you may be able to put a claim in for compensation. Take a look here for more information.

If you have received your tracking number but your parcel has not arrived within the estimated time frame, then please follow up directly with Australia Post here. Please let us know so we can follow it up from our end as well.
